Evinrude E-TEC outboards are the first Bombardier designed and engineered outboards. Evinrude E-TEC outboards are designed to be easy to own and operate and require no scheduled dealer maintenance for three years or 300 hours of normal recreational use.


E-TEC DIRECT INJECTION

E-TEC direct injection uses a computer based electronic engine mahangement system to monitor engine temperature, air temperature, atmossperic pressure, crank position and engine load so it can coordinate delivery of precise fuel quanities into the combustion chamber when the exhaust port is closed.Evinrude E-TEC injectors are simple ans more durable with 26% fewer parts than previous designs.

E-TEC direct injection outboards have the lowest total reportable emissions levels of all outboard technologies and Evinrude E-TEC outboards are designed to comply with EPA 2006 and European Union standards as well as CARB ultra-low 3 Star emissions rating.

E-START SYSTEM

The high energy ignition delivers more spark at start-up. No choking, no priming. Full magneto e;ectronic make it posible to start and run the engine even if the boat's battery should fail.

E-TEC AUTO LUBE

Evinrude E-TEC outboards are programmed from the factory to run on TC-W3 oil. The Auto-Lube oil system can be programmed by an authorized dealer to provide ultra-low oil consumption if the customer uses Evinrude XD-100 oil. Complete combustion prevents oil from escaping into the environment.

AUTO STORAGE MODE

E_TEC engines are equipped with an auto storage mode, so you dont have to take it to a dealer for off-season storage or winterization for the first three years of normal recreational use.

S.A.F.E.

Speed Adjusting Failsafe Electronics send the engine into a slow speed/return home mode in the event of no oil or overheat situation.
